‘‘In the middle of the city there is an Octagon. In the Octagon is an unassuming door. Behind the door is a staircase. At the bottom of the staircase is a bar. The bar is called Mr Fox, a watering hole for discerning creatures of the night’’ Mr Fox 2020

Mr Fox is a den of opposites, other-worldly yet domestic, minimal yet allowing the unruly and organic to emerge, relaxed yet meticulous in its level of service. Intended as a space to escape, to loose oneself, to meet a lover, friends, to indulge and be swept away by the best food and drink, to listen to great tunes. The space is warm, moody and encouraging of cheeky mis-behaviour of the grown up kind.

We worked alongside strategic partners and Dunedin based branding agency Brand Aid who graciously carried the concept of Mr Fox beyond the confines of its architecture, reaching into print material, signage, social media to name a few. We are grateful collaborators.
